My name is Jennie McIntyre, M.S. CCC-SLP and Owner of Love Speaks Speech and Language Services. I am a native Austinite and have been serving the Austin community as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1998. I am committed to helping individuals reach their potential as a communicator. My work focuses on articulation, receptive and expressive language skills, Dyslexia support, fluency, and pragmatic language skills. I believe in taking a collaborative and individualized approach in helping clients reach their goals.

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Jennie McIntyre, M.S. CCC-SLP
Jennie graduated with her degree in Speech Communications and a minor in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin seeking to make a difference. She later earned her Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Texas at Dallas in order to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. Her professional dream was to have a private where she could pour into families with their loved ones communication needs. Jennie specializes in helping children with articulation delays, language disorders, and dyslexia support. When she’s not working, Jennie loves exploring the outdoors, diving into a good book, and enjoying time with family and friends!

Caroline Hammond, M.S. CCC-SLP
Caroline earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas at Dallas 2019, following her undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders the University of Oklahoma. She is actively pursuing training in Temporal Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and evidence-based speech therapy programs. When she’s not conducting speech therapy, Caroline enjoys taking walks with her dog, diving into a captivating book, or teaching and playing Mahjong! Caroline is currently offering virtual speech therapy sessions!

Hannah Williams, M.S. CCC-SLP
Hannah Williams graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Communicative Disorders and minors in Psychology and Developmental Disabilities. She continued her education to obtain her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Texas at Austin. She specializes in working with children and adults with disabilities, but loves to work with a variety of ages and disorders. When she isn't working, you'll find Hannah training for marathons, cycling or knitting!

Kathleen Thoele, M.S. CCC-SLP
Kathleen Thoele attended the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Texas Dallas. We are proud to have her back in Austin working at Love Speaks! Kathleen loves spending time with her family and friends, going on walks outside, finding new recipes/restaurants to try, and traveling.

Grace Link, M.S. CCC-SLP
Grace Link attended undergrad at The University of Texas at Arkansas followed by obtaining her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at St. Augustine University. We are so thankful Grace moved back to her hometown to join Love Speaks and continue her career with us touching the lives of individuals seeking communication growth.

Kayla Penner, M.C. CCC-SLP
Kayla earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma and Baylor University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
With over 8 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, including more than 6 years in elementary schools, Kayla has supported toddlers through high school students with speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, social communication, executive functioning, receptive language, and expressive language needs. She is passionate about providing individualized, meaningful, and motivating therapy while helping students and families grow into confident communicators.In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, being a new mom to her daughter Caroline, reading, and playing Mahjong.

Erin Rogers, CF/SLP
Erin Rogers graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences Disorders. She continued her education to obtain her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She loves to work with a variety of ages and disorders, and is eager to continue growing and learning from her clients. When she isn't working, you'll find Erin painting, going for runs, playing pickleball, and spending time with loved ones!

Lisa Bost, Literacy Specialist/Dyslexia Practitioner
Lisa Bost is a literacy and dyslexia practitioner with 14 years of experience supporting students with reading differences and language-based learning challenges in Eanes ISD. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University and her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading from Texas State University. Trained in the Wilson Reading System, Lisa is passionate about helping children build confidence, strengthen foundational literacy skills, and experience success as readers. She is dedicated to providing supportive, individualized instruction that meets each child where they are and helps them grow. Lisa believes in a collaborative approach with families to help children reach their full potential. When not working, she enjoys college football, reading, spending time with family, and relaxing at the beach.

Julia McIntyre, Office Director
Julia attended The University of Texas at Austin and joined Love Speaks to support the business and administrative side of the practice. With a passion for helping others and a heart for children and families, Julia plays an essential role in welcoming new families to Love Speaks. She assists with onboarding, insurance claims, billing, and many of the day-to-day office operations that keep the practice running smoothly. Known for her warm smile and caring nature, Julia helps create a positive and supportive experience for everyone who walks through the door. In her free time, Julia enjoys exercising, reading, cooking, and traveling.
